Taking Part In A Show

In this section of the website you will find the information you need to take part in one of our shows. Both Memebrs and non-members can exhit at a show.

Please make sure that you read the Show regulations so that you understand how the Show works.

When deciding on your entries please ensure that you have checke the appropriate class requirements as laid down in the Schedule for the current year.

There are also a series of hints to help you make the best of you entries.

If you are still not sure about something please contact the Society in advance or speak to one of the Committee members who will be on hand during the staging time on the Friday evening or Saturday morning before the show.

Please note that the Society reserves the right to photograph enteries for its own use which may include social media and the internet. Names of exhibitors will be redacted.

 

Show Regulations

Here you will find the regulations that govern each of our Shows. They set out the way in which exhibitors enter the classes, entry fees, staging times, judging and awards.

Hints to Exhibitors

To help new exhibitors and remind existing members, these hints clarify how exhibits in both flower and produce classes need to be shown. For the Domestic Division there are instructionsfor presentation of craft items and ptresentation of jams and jellies.

Certificates and Trophies

Each exhibit entered will have a card stating the class and exhibitors name which will be placed blank-side up by the item. This card will then show any place awarded at judging.

Trophies are awarded only to Society members.
